Hello & welcome to Our Chaotic Mess!
About The Blog
The name Our Chaotic Mess came from a night when I was sitting at my dining room table with a notebook in front of me. I was writing down words that described my life, things I wanted to talk about on my blog, and topics that I could relate to. I didn’t want to name my blog anything too specific because I didn’t want to feel stuck within that specific niche.
This might just be an online diary to some but I’m a real person, with real feelings. I created this blog to share my stories and allow people to have a look into my life so they are able to learn they are not alone in whatever life has thrown at them. You will read about everything from mental illnesses and abuse to family and laughter! The good, the bad, the ugly – all of it raw.
I used to hold my anger in until it became too overwhelming and I exploded but thankfully I have learned over time that such anger needs to be expressed, even if not towards the person it’s aimed at. So through this blog I will be sharing all of my thoughts, good and bad, with you – my faithful readers. I only hope that by reading this you will gain the understanding that whatever you’re fighting, you’re not alone.
Follow me on this path through life and learn as I do the rollercoaster of life, the ups and the downs.
Thanks in advance for taking a gander and please, if you ever need to talk, vent, or anything get a hold of me! You may do so on my contact page!
I also welcome guest bloggers to share their posts as well! If you are interested leave a comment and let me know!
About the Owner
Hey y’all! My name is Lena. I am a southern mom & wife. My three daughters, Autumn, Sophia, and Elyssandra, are my life – my reasons for breathing. I’m married to their daddy & my best friend. What began as a high school romance is now my fairytale love story – but it didn’t come easy. We are a homeschool family and have been doing so for three years now. It hasn’t always been an easy adventure but it is truly what’s best for our family so we continue to push through the ups and downs.
I just finished up my bachelors degree in Human Services.. all while maintaining a house and a marriage. I am currently enrolled in a bachelor program for social work. I am working towards being a medical social worker in the hospice field. Yes, you read that right.
My life is chaotic. My life is a mess. But it’s my chaotic mess. The Our came from family. This chaos isn’t just mine.. it’s my husband’s too. So my became our and I stuck with it. This is our life and we love it. You don’t see my husband on the blog but he does help behind the scenes so I wanted to include him in this journey here on Our Chaotic Mess.
I sincerely hope that you find something you can relate to, something that you enjoy, or something that will help you learn about something new here on OCM. Thank you so much for the continued support. It doesn’t go unnoticed.
