Gift Guide – Newborn to 3 Years

With the holidays quickly approaching, I wanted to share some gift guides for kids. This has been a very weird year and I know that some places are starting to shut back down due to COVID so I am going to try to get things that are available to be purchased online to make it easier.

This will be a four part series over the next two weeks from the ages of newborn to 12+. Today I will be sharing the gift guide for newborn to 3. I will be sharing four toys/gifts for each age range below just to give you some ideas.

Some of these items shared are a part of my kid’s lists and some are things we have had in the past or things I have looked into. All you have to do is click on the pictures and it will take you to the item where you can add this particular item to your cart or look at similar ones.

Newborn – 6 Months

Tummy Time Water Mat
Rattles and/or Teething Toys
Playmat
High Contrast Books
Good for any age, really but introducing them early on is helpful.

6 – 12 Months

Stacking Sensory Blocks
Stack & Shape Toys
Walking Toy
Activity Cube
My kids started playing with these around 4-5 months and my 2 year old still plays with hers. Definitely a great gift!

12 – 18 Months

Any type of puzzles!
Any type of learning tools, especially books and interactive toys.
Busy Boards have been a FAVORITE in our house.
Interactive Wall Chart
This is actually on Ellie’s Christmas list this year and I am so excited to get it for her! When we sit down to do school she is always wanting to do it with us and this will be fun for her to do and will be something we can use for a long time.

18 Months – 2 Years

This book has been so helpful with Ellie’s speech. She loves this book.
Slide/Other Outdoor toys
This is on Ellie’s Christmas list this year and I can’t wait.
Activity Desk
Building Blocks
An absolute FAVORITE in our house

2 – 3 years

Drawing Tablet
Kids love to draw and this will allow them to do it without the huge mess and possible art work on your walls/floors!
Books! You can never have enough books, in my opinion.
Tricycle or a Balance Bike

I hope that these have helped you get some ideas for your littles! I am trying to be more intentional with my gifts this year and have leaned more toward learning toys and things they will be able to use for a while. What are some things you are getting your newborn to 3 year old for Christmas?

Friday you will see the next part of this series, for kids 4-8 years old.

Thank you, as always, for taking the time to read this and I hope you come back to check out any future content posted!

Xoxo
